Wooden Boat Festival

Every Fall, Madisonville
plays host to the largest
wooden boat festival in the
South. Sponsored by the
Lake Pontchartrain Maritime
Museum, the festival attracts
boat enthusiasts and music
lovers for two days of fun
and to revel at the history of
wooden boats and the
craftsmanship that went into
